A name or location entered in a search tool is sent to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Del Norte County Criminal History does not keep, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It provides general directions to records maintained by the Del Norte County Sheriff, Superior Court of California, California Department of Justice, and California Megan's Law Website. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not turned into consumer reports or third-party criminal-history profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Their own privacy policies, retention periods, and disclosure practices apply to anything submitted through a tool. Read the provider's policy before running a query because we do not control those practices.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Del Norte County Sheriff, Superior Court, California agencies, legal resources, or outside search tools. Once you leave this website, the destination's privacy policy controls. Review it before providing personal information.
Advertising companies may use their own systems to follow activity across websites and tailor ads. We do not operate that tracking.
